Crockpot Pork Recipes

Crockpot pork recipes produce unbelievably tender and flavorful dishes, more so than most any other meat. Pork pairs so well with so many other flavors that it is nearly impossible to come up with a bad combination: tomato, basil, mushrooms, pineapple, garlic, ginger, apples, cinnamon, cumin...the list goes on.

As with beef, slow cooker pork recipes can start with a tough cut of meat, like a shoulder (butt) roast and still come out tender enough to cut with just a fork. But with shorter cooking times you can still cook finer cuts such as pork tenderloin in a slow cooker to perfection.

In other dishes, you can use pork products for flavoring instead of the main ingredient. Smoked ham hocks are fantastic with split peas or baked beans; ham is terrific in soups; and bacon makes just about everything better!
